How to Apply Vinyl Skins

Here is a little guide on applying vinyl skins to your cell phone. Talkietech.com offers skins for the Samsung i607, T-mobile Sidekick III, Motorola RAZR V3xx, etc.

1. Carefully peel clear top vinyl sticker or skin, separating it from the white backing paper.

2. Find a point of reference to line up the vinyl. Use a tiny hole or key button for best results.
3. Slowly and progressively rub the skin on to the surface of the phone, starting from one side to and gradually working to the other side of the Skin. Avoid trapping air bubbles.
4. After completing step three, rub through and then remove the clear top.

Note: If you do notice air bubbles on your skin, you can do one of two things:

a. The trick I use to get them out is to gently remove the skin, if it's close to an edge, and reapply the skin.

b. If the bubble is not close to an edge, take a small pin and poke a tiny hole, at the center of the bubble and rub the air bubble out gently allowing the air to escape through the tiny pin hole.
